How it all started ....
Summer 2005
Formed in 2005 in Manchester UK by Pep Pepaprd and Justyn Hughes GreenSmoke Records original purpose was to act as an outlet for the music the founders were writing as The Hustled.
By 2008 we were hosting events in some of Manchester's most famours venues including the legendary Roadhouse,The Attic and Jabez Clegg with headliners such as Kyza Smirnoff and Rhyme Asylum
By the time 2014 arrived we had spread our wings a little and were hosting events in London and the surrounding area ,. featuring headline performances from the likes of Foreign Beggars, SHY FX, Brockie & MC Det and more .
Over the following years the focus became more about growing the roster with a collection of like minded , but equally diverse acts, and less about booking venues and hosting shows.
Now into 2023 and we are growing all the time . We are now proudly home to not only The Hustled , but also DJ Andy Cain, The Kindred, Kenzie , Getaway Driver and The Biscuit People.
July 2023 sees us return to live event hosting with the first of our "It's a vibe" events Ft Road Bloc at Zombie Shack , Manchester! Head to our events section for more information
